Character Level/Stats Page

Every new character that joins the Infinity Force RPG starts at level 1. Experience points are gained by winning training battles, sparring battles, and/or Random Battle System (RBS) battles. Also, if a player decides to run away in battle, he/she can do so using the !run away command in Ultra-Bot…however, the chances of running away successfully are only about 10%.

The level/stats program is explained below:

Level: Each character has a specific level. A character's level depends on the amount of Exp. Pts. he/she has.

Power Level: Each character has a unique Power Level. Putting it bluntly, Power Level is the absolute total ability that a character has. Normally, about 10% to 20% of the total Power Level is the main factor when using the super-powerful EXTREME attacks. However, this amount can get as high as about 95% or even as low as about 5%.

Exp. Pts: These are what show how much a person has in the terms of battle experience.

Session Exp. Pts: These are what you obtain after a session. The purpose of the Session Exp. Pts. is always revealed at the end of each season…

Special Exp. Pts: These are what you obtain after special events or other certain things. The purpose of the Special Exp. Pts. will eventually be revealed within good time…

Going along with a "level-up", a character's stats increase. The stats are explained below:

Hit Points (HP):  Okay… really simply to understand.  This is a character’s health/vitality.  If it reaches zero, you are dead.  Simple, eh?  Yeah well, it’s typical RPG crap, so get used to it.

Ability Points (AP): Ability Points are like the typical Magic Points or Mana Points you find in other RPGs.  They are used up whenever you use magic or Special Attacks.  If it gets too low, you can’t use ‘em anymore.

Base Power (BP): This is what a character starts out with until he/she obtains a weapon(s). It determines how much damage the character can inflict without weaponry. It also determines how much weight a person can lift or push during sessions.

Total Power (TP): This is what determines how much damage a character does with a weapon(s).

Base Defense (BD): This is what a character starts out with until he/she obtains armor. It determines how much damage the character takes without any armor.

Total Defense (TD): This is what determines how much damage a character takes with armor on.

Base Agility (BA): This is what a character starts out with until he/she obtains all of his/her equipment. It determines how fast a person can run during sessions and the character's placement in the battle list.

Total Agility (TA): This is what determines how fast a person can run in sessions after obtaining all of his/her equipment. Agility is decreased due to armor’s weight and is increased if a person equips a special weapon or accessory or unequips armor.

Special (SP): This is what determines how well a person can use special abilities (Mind attacks, magic, etc.). The lower the number, the less effective the ability is.

Special Defense (SD): This is what determines how much damage a person takes from special abilities.

Another part of the stats is the HMS statistics, which is described in more detail on the The Fighting System page.

Note: Other parts of the level/stats program will be added as the RPG progresses.
