HD's Mech. Shop
Hey there! It's me!
The Great HD! (Shaddup! I did not take that from some TV show called
"Tinchee…" whatever!) Anyway…
Here at my Mech.
Shop, I design and build various Mech. Suits and parts. Indeed, it isn't an
easy job, but the pay is good. (Heh, heh…DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT! See below
for reasons why the prices are the way they are!) Continuing…just to let anyone
know: I DO NOT MAKE CUSTOM MECH. SUITS AND/OR CUSTOM MECH. PARTS!
You can request that a part is made or give me an idea, but it will be
built and then be made available to everyone.
Now…for those who
don't trust me, the reason why Mech. Suit equipment is SO dang expensive
is because of a few reasons, but one in particular: THE PARTS ARE FRICKIN' HARD
TO GET! Also, it is based upon what the Mech. Suits abilities are, the Weapon
Power, defensive capabilities, and any other special thing that can come up
(i.e. Elementals, etc.).
Oh! Just to let you
know, you are able to repair your Mech. Suit at anytime…except during
battle! Armor Point Restoration costs 10 € per Armor Point and 5 € per
Energy Point.
Maybe I should
explain about Mech. Suits:
Mech. Suit: A mechanical
suit that can be used during battles. While in the Mech. Suit, the operator is
completely safe from harm, while the Mech. Suit itself takes all the damage,
including status effects. A normal Mech. Suit can be anywhere from 15 to 30
feet in height and can weigh anywhere from 5 to 20 tons. However, I don't make
the huge, heavy Mech. Suits. Instead, the ones sold at the Mech. Shop are about
20 feet in height and around 10 tons in weight.
Mech. Weapon: A weapon
that is specially made so that only a Mech. Suit is able to handle its massive
size and weight. Usually, these weapons are unable to be lifted by normal
means. However, to a Mech. Suit, the weapons' weights can vary depending on the
weapon. (i.e. A Mega Fist only has a weight of 5, while an Ether Cannon has a
weight of 500!) If you want the true weight of a Mech. Weapon, simply multiply
the Mech. Weight by 400 lbs.
Mech. Armor: This is
basically the Mech. Suit's armored "hide". The Mech. Armor is what
decreases the amount of damage a Mech. Suit can take from an enemy's attack.
The higher the armor's defense value, the less damage the Mech. Suit's frame
will take. Of course, due to its weight and size, a Mech. Suit can only have on
one type of Mech. Armor.
Mech. Engine: This is what
supplies energy (Energy Points) to the Mech. Suit's various actions and
equipment (depending). This is also what determines the Power Output (Basic
Attack value) of the Mech. Suit. Energy Points can be consumed whenever the
Mech. Suit uses Mech. Attacks or whenever its operator casts a magic spell,
which goes through the Mech. Suit and is therefore used by the suit itself. If
the Mech. Suit runs out of Energy Points, the suit can no longer use any types
of attack that would consume Energy Points.
Mech. Frame: This is the Mech. Suit's
"life" (HP). Whenever a Mech. Suit's frame takes damage, the frame
weakens. Whenever the frame becomes too weak, the Mech. Suit will deactivate
until the frame is repaired.
Mech. Mobility Unit: This is the Mech. Suit's
mobility unit. It is the piece of
equipment that determines how fast a Mech. Suit itself can move. Due to the way things are, Mobility Units
are pretty expensive because they must compensate for the Mech. Suit’s weight
and adjust to its size and shape.
Mech. Special P/D Drive: This is the Mech. Suit part
that is fairly important. It is what
determines the Mech. Suit’s Special Attack rating and Special Defense
rating. The Special P/D Drives are also
very expensive because it must be able to defend against magic and mind
attacks.
Mech. Equip Armor: This is
a type of armor that a Mech. Suit can actually equip itself. There are various
types of equip. armor that are available at the Mech. Shop, which usually
enhance defense but have some sort of weight to them. Of course, sometimes,
special armor is made, which increases the efficiency of other functions of the
suit.
Mech. Equip Accessories: This special piece of
equipment is usually designed to protect the suit against certain effects or
increase certain functions of the suit. Sometimes, it has other purposes.
Mech.
Enhancements: These are a very special (and expensive) type of Mech. Suit part! These parts can do various things, including
adding additional equipment slots to a Mech. Suit!
Now…on with the shop!
